Just the best decision you could make!
Ghyll scrambling and canyoning with Adventure21 is the only company you should go for if you’re looking for a good time. Dave was an incredible instructor who really looked after my partner and I. You could tell he was just trying to give us the best experience we could get (as well as photos, he makes an incredible personal photographer) they provide changing facilities and all the equipment you need, unlike other companies. Dave knows the gorge like the back of his hand so his guidance is amazing and Kety was really quick and helpful to reply to all my emails asking about the details of the trip. Our canyoning experience was made really incredible by this company and of course the local celebrity Quakers the duck! Plus you can buy tickets online without having to call or email anyone asking for availability. Would definitely go back and even try some of the numerous other activities they offer, like canoeing and paintball. Highly recommended.

4th time as fab as always
4th trip ghyll (gorge) scrambling with Paul and Dave, always in slightly different combinations of people but awesome as always. The weather’s always different as is the level of water and every trip has been different with unusual surprises and challenges and fun slides/headstands along the way. Bonkers and brilliant! Best team bonding activity ever! Can’t wait to see the photos! You know we’ll be back! Tess and Al 😊👍

Great Fun Gorge Scrambling

We had a great afternoon gorge scrambling. It really was excellent fun, we were provided all the kit needed and were made to feel extremely safe throughout the afternoon. Our instructor was great and really friendly, very patient and encouraged everyone to push their limits of adventure. It was great value for money, a full afternoon, and we would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a little adventure in the Lake District!!!

Gorge Scrambling and Canyoneering

My husband and I decided to book this activity as part of our mini-moon. We had a wonderful time gorge scrambling and canyoning with Adventure 21 and Dave. Their cabin is located next to the beautiful Coniston Lake and the canyoning was only a short walk away. Dave was very knowledgeable about the area and activity and allowed us to go at our own pace. The jumps and climbs were exciting and we felt supported all the way. They provided us with wetsuits and waterproofs which was much appreciated because the water was a bit chilly but it didn't take long to get used to it. Also shout out to Quackers the rescue duck who unfortunately couldn't come on our gorge scrambling activity but accompanies Dave on all other activities as honorary guide.
We would definitely recommend gorge scrambling and canyoneering with Adventure 21 if you are looking for an exciting activity to do in the lakes.
